Your Key Responsibilities
Performing in-depth patient assessments, initiating diagnostic tests, and developing personalized care plans
Managing and treating acute, episodic, or chronic conditions in collaboration with healthcare providers or independently (dependent on applicable credentials)
Educating patients and their families on preventive health, wellness practices, and chronic disease management
Prescribing and managing medications and therapies as per practice guidelines
Overseeing patient follow-ups and chronic care collaboration
Working closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
Accurately documenting within electronic medical records (EMR)
Qualifications Required
Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
Necessary Certifications
Active Nurse Practitioner license in Nevada
National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or equivalent specialty
Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or ability to obtain them within 90 days)
