What You Will Be Doing
Performing thorough patient evaluations, ordering necessary diagnostic tests, and creating personalized treatment plans
Assessing and managing acute, episodic, or chronic health issues, whether collaboratively with physicians or independently, depending on credentialing
Instructing patients and their families on prevention, wellness, and managing diseases
Prescribing medications and treatments within your practice scope
Engaging in follow-up care and managing chronic conditions
Working collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams to deliver seamless, integrated care
Maintaining accurate and complete documentation in electronic medical records (EMR)
Educational Credentials Required
Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
Necessary Certifications
Active Nurse Practitioner license in the state of Tennessee
National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or relevant specialty counterpart
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications, or ability to obtain within 90 days
