Your Responsibilities Include
Performing thorough patient assessments, arranging necessary diagnostic exams, and developing tailored care strategies
Diagnosing and managing acute, episodic, or chronic conditions, either in partnership with physicians or independently as permitted
Offering education to patients and their families on wellness, prevention, and chronic disease management

Accurately documenting patient interactions within electronic medical records (EMR)
Qualifications You Should Have
Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
Essential Certifications
Active Nurse Practitioner licensure in New York State
National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or an equivalent in your specialty
Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or ability to obtain within 90 days)
