Your Role in Patient Care
Performing thorough assessments, ordering necessary diagnostic tests, and creating tailored care plans for each patient
Diagnosing and managing both acute and chronic conditions, working both independently and alongside physicians
Teaching patients and their families about prevention strategies, wellness, and ongoing illness management
Prescribing medications and treatments in line with your clinical authority
Monitoring patient progress through follow-up appointments and chronic disease management
Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure a holistic approach to patient health
Accurately documenting patient information in electronic medical records (EMR)
Education and Credentials
Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) required
Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
Certification Needs
Valid Nurse Practitioner license in the state of Washington
National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or equivalent
Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications, or willingness to secure within 90 days
Essential Skills
Exceptional clinical skills paired with a compassionate approach to care
Strong communication capabilities with diverse patient populations and healthcare teams
Agility and adaptability within fast-paced, patient-centric environments
Familiarity with EMR systems and an openness to telehealth technology
