Your Role and Responsibilities
Performing comprehensive evaluations, ordering diagnostic tests, and devising personalized care plans
Diagnosing and managing acute, episodic, or chronic conditions either independently or in collaboration with physicians (dependent on credentialing)
Providing education to patients and families on preventive care, wellness, and disease management
Prescribing appropriate medications and therapies within your scope of practice
Engaging in patient follow-ups and chronic care management
Working collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to deliver integrated, holistic care
Maintaining thorough and accurate documentation in electronic medical records (EMR)
Education & Qualifications
Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) required
Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
Certifications Required
Current Nurse Practitioner licensure in California
National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP, or ANCC) or equivalent
Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or ability to obtain within 90 days)
