Your Daily Contributions
Perform thorough patient assessments, initiate diagnostic exams, and tailor individualized care strategies
Diagnose and manage acute, chronic, or episodic health issues, working in partnership with physicians or autonomously (based on credentials)
Guide patients and their families in wellness, prevention, and effective disease management
Prescribe medications and therapeutic interventions fitting within your scope of practice

Accurately and comprehensively document within electronic medical records (EMR)
Qualifications You Need
Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner training program
Certifications Required
Active Nurse Practitioner license in California
National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or an equivalent specialty
Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or ability to obtain these within 90 days)
