Your Role and Responsibilities
Conducting thorough patient assessments, recommending diagnostic procedures, and devising personalized care strategies
Diagnosing and managing acute, episodic, or chronic diseases in partnership with physicians or autonomously, as appropriate
Providing education to patients and their families regarding preventive measures, wellness, and disease management
Prescribing medications and treatments in alignment with your scope of practice
Engaging in patient follow-ups and chronic care coordination
Collaborating within interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive and integrated care
Maintaining accurate and detailed documentation in electronic medical records (EMR)
Education and Qualifications
Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
Successful graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
Essential Certifications
Valid Nurse Practitioner license in the state of Kentucky
National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP, or ANCC) or comparable certification
Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or willingness to obtain within 90 days)
