Your Role Awaits
Carrying out in-depth patient evaluations, ordering necessary diagnostic procedures, and creating tailored care strategies
Diagnosing and managing acute, episodic, or chronic conditions in partnership with physicians or independently as permitted
Providing education to patients and families regarding prevention, wellness practices, and disease management
Prescribing therapies and medications within the parameters of your practice
Engaging in patient follow-up and managing chronic care
Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to deliver seamless and comprehensive care
Ensuring meticulous documentation through electronic medical records (EMR)
Educational Credentials
Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
Essential Certifications
Current Nurse Practitioner license in New York State
National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP, or ANCC) or equivalent
Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or ability to acquire within three months)
