Your Responsibilities
Performing thorough patient evaluations, ordering necessary diagnostic tests, and devising personalized treatment strategies
Identifying and addressing acute, episodic, or chronic conditions in conjunction with physicians or autonomously, according to your credentials
Providing education to patients and their families regarding preventive care, wellness, and disease management
Prescribing appropriate medications and therapies within your professional scope
Engaging in patient follow-ups and chronic disease management
Working collaboratively within interdisciplinary teams to promote comprehensive, patient-centered care
Accurately documenting patient interactions and treatment plans in electronic medical records (EMR)
Qualifications Needed
Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner educational program
Certification Requirements
Valid Nurse Practitioner license in the state of Nevada
National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP, or ANCC) or its equivalent for specialty areas
Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or the willingness to obtain within 90 days)
Essential Skills
Exceptional clinical judgment complemented by a warm, compassionate approach to patient care
Strong communication abilities with patients, families, and healthcare teams
Flexibility in fast-paced, patient-focused settings
Proficiency in EMR systems alongside comfort utilizing telehealth technologies
