Your Responsibilities
Performing detailed patient assessments, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, and developing tailored care plans
Diagnosing and managing a range of acute, episodic, or chronic health conditions, in partnership with supervising physicians or autonomously based on your qualifications
Providing education to patients and their families on preventive health practices, wellness strategies, and chronic disease management
Prescribing medications and therapies appropriate within the scope of your practice
Participating in patient follow-ups and chronic care management initiatives
Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive, holistic care
Documenting patient information meticulously within electronic medical records (EMR)
Educational Background
Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner training program
Necessary Certifications
Active Nurse Practitioner license in Kansas
National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP, or ANCC) or relevant specialty certification
Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or ability to acquire within 90 days)
