Your Key Responsibilities
Conducting thorough patient assessments, ordering necessary diagnostic tests, and crafting personalized care plans
Diagnosing and managing acute, episodic, or chronic illnesses, either independently or in collaboration with physicians (per your credentials)
Educating patients and families on strategies for prevention, wellness, and effective disease management

Education and Certification Requirements
Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
Essential Certifications
Valid Nurse Practitioner licensure in California
National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP, or ANCC) or equivalent specialized certification
Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or willingness to obtain within 90 days)
