What You'll Be Engaged In
Performing thorough patient evaluations, ordering necessary diagnostic tests, and crafting personalized care plans
Diagnosing and addressing acute, episodic, or chronic health issues in collaboration with physicians or autonomously (according to credentialing)
Educating patients and their families on preventive measures, wellness practices, and effective management of diseases
Prescribing medications and therapies within your licensed scope of practice
Participating in follow-ups and chronic care management strategies
Working alongside interdisciplinary teams to ensure a seamless and holistic healthcare approach
Documenting patient interactions accurately within electronic medical records (EMR)
Educational Background
Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
Necessary Certifications
Valid Nurse Practitioner license in Nevada
National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or a suitable specialty equivalent
Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or willingness to obtain them within 90 days)
