Your Role in Healthcare
Executing thorough patient evaluations, requesting necessary diagnostic tests, and developing individualized care strategies
Diagnosing and treating both acute and chronic illnesses independently or in collaboration with physicians, as per your credentials
Providing education to patients and their families focused on prevention, wellness, and chronic disease management
Prescribing medications and therapies within your designated scope of practice
Engaging in patient follow-ups and chronic care management strategies
Working alongside interdisciplinary teams to deliver cohesive and comprehensive healthcare
Ensuring thorough and accurate documentation within electronic medical records (EMR)
Educational Qualifications
Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
Essential Certifications
Active Nurse Practitioner licensure in California
National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or comparable specialty
Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or ability to obtain within 90 days)
