Your Role and Responsibilities
Conduct thorough patient assessments, manage diagnostic tests, and develop tailored care plans
Diagnose and treat various health issues, collaborating with physicians or independently based on your credentials
Empower patients and families through education on wellness, preventative care, and chronic disease management
Prescribe appropriate medications and treatments within your scope of practice
Engage in patient follow-up and chronic care management initiatives
Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to provide holistic care
Maintain meticulous electronic medical records (EMR) documentation
Qualifications and Certifications
Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
Licensure and Competitive Certifications
Current Nurse Practitioner licensure in Oklahoma
National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or the equivalent
Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or ability to obtain within 90 days)
