Your Role and Responsibilities
Performing thorough patient evaluations, recommending diagnostic procedures, and creating tailored care strategies
Collaboratively diagnosing and managing acute, episodic, or chronic diseases alongside physicians or independently as appropriate
Instructing patients and families on health promotion, prevention strategies, and effective disease management
Prescribing medications and therapies that align with your practice scope
Engaging in patient follow-up and managing chronic care protocols
Working synergistically within interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive, cohesive care
Maintaining diligent and precise records within electronic medical systems
Educational Qualifications
Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
Completion of a recognized Nurse Practitioner program
Essential Certifications
Currently valid Nurse Practitioner license in Massachusetts
National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or an equivalent in your specialty
Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or capacity to obtain within 90 days)
