Job description
We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our team in supporting disabled veterans through the Veterans BenefitsAdministration (VBA) disability evaluation process. This role is a unique opportunity to serve those who have served our country by conducting medical assessments that help determine eligibility for disability benefits.
nKey Responsibilities:
nnnPerform comprehensive disability examinations for veterans inaccordance with VBA guidelines.
n
nnReview medical records and document findings using standardizedtemplates.
n
nnConduct physical assessments and diagnostic evaluations as needed.
n
nnProvide objective medical opinions without treatment or prescribingresponsibilities.
n
nnEnsure timely and accurate completion of all documentation andreports.
n
nnCollaborate with administrative and clinical teams to ensure smoothexam processes.
n
n nQualifications:
nnnActive and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license in the state ofpractice.
n
nnBoard certification (e.g., AANP, ANCC).
n
nnExperience in primary care, occupational health, or disabilityevaluations preferred.
n
nnStrong clinical assessment and documentation skills.
n
nnAbility to work independently and maintain objectivity.
n
nnFamiliarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
