Your Role In This Mission
Performing thorough patient evaluations, requesting necessary diagnostic tests, and developing tailored care plans
Providing diagnoses and treatment for acute, chronic, or episodic illnesses, working independently or alongside physicians as authorized by your credentials
Guiding patients and their families on wellness strategies, prevention, and management of health conditions
Prescribing treatments and medications within your practice scope
Engaging in patient follow-ups and managing chronic care effectively
Working collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to foster complete, comprehensive care
Meticulously documenting patient records in electronic medical systems
Educational Prerequisites
Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
Mandatory Credentials
Active Nurse Practitioner license in Texas
National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or an equivalent specialty
Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or willingness to obtain within 90 days)
