Your Impactful Responsibilities
Administering thorough patient evaluations, recommending appropriate diagnostic tests, and crafting tailored care plans
Diagnosing and managing acute, episodic, or chronic health issues either independently or in partnership with physicians based on your credentialing
Providing education to patients and their families on preventive measures, wellness strategies, and disease management
Prescribing medications and therapies within legal and professional boundaries
Involvement in patient follow-ups and chronic care strategies
Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive and effective care
Maintaining precise and detailed records within electronic medical record systems (EMR)
Educational Credentials
Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner training program
Essential Certifications
Active Nurse Practitioner license in the state of Michigan
National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP, or ANCC) or relevant specialty certification
Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or ability to procure within 90 days)
