Your Role Awaits
Performing thorough patient evaluations, ordering relevant diagnostic tests, and creating tailored care plans
Diagnosing and managing acute, episodic, or chronic conditions in collaboration with physicians or independently (depending on credentialing)
Providing education to patients and families regarding prevention, wellness, and chronic condition management
Prescribing appropriate medications and therapies within your scope of practice
Engaging in patient follow-up and managing chronic care strategically
Working within interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive and seamless care delivery
Accurately documenting patient information within electronic health record systems
Qualifications Required
Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
Certifications Needed
Active Nurse Practitioner licensure in North Carolina
National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP, or ANCC) or equivalent specialty certification
Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or the ability to obtain them within 90 days)
