Your Responsibilities
Performing thorough patient evaluations, ordering relevant diagnostic procedures, and creating tailored care strategies
Identifying and addressing acute or chronic health issues with the collaboration of physicians, or independently based on your qualifications
Providing education to patients and families on health maintenance, illness prevention, and disease management
Prescribing therapies and medications within established frameworks
Participating in long-term care management and patient follow-ups
Working with interdisciplinary teams to promote comprehensive healthcare
Accurately recording patient information in electronic medical records (EMR)
Educational Qualifications
Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
A degree from a recognized Nurse Practitioner program
Necessary Certifications
Current Nurse Practitioner licensure in North Carolina
National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or similar
Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or capability to secure within 90 days)
