Your Responsibilities
Performing extensive patient evaluations, authorizing diagnostic exams, and designing personalized care pathways
Diagnosing and managing acute, episodic, or chronic health conditions collaboratively with physicians or independently, as your credentials allow
Instructing patients and their families on preventive measures, wellness, and disease management strategies
Prescribing necessary medications and treatments within your practice scope
Engaging in patient follow-ups and chronic care management initiatives
Working alongside interdisciplinary teams to guarantee fluid, comprehensive care
Accurately and comprehensively documenting within electronic medical records (EMR)
Qualifications and Education
Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
Required Credentials
Active Nurse Practitioner license within the state of Hawaii
National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP, or ANCC) or an appropriate specialty equivalent
Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications or the ability to obtain them within 90 days
