Your Responsibilities
Performing thorough patient evaluations, creating custom care plans, and managing diagnostics
Recognizing and addressing acute, episodic, or chronic health issues independently or in collaboration with physician colleagues
Instructing patients and their families on wellness, preventive care, and chronic disease management
Prescribing medications and therapies within your scope of practice
Actively engaging in patient follow-ups and chronic care strategies
Working with interdisciplinary teams to provide cohesive, comprehensive care
Accurately documenting patient interactions in electronic medical records (EMR)
Qualifications
Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree
Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
Necessary Credentials
Valid Nurse Practitioner licensure in Florida
National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or equivalent specialty
Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or the ability to acquire within 90 days)
Essential Skills

Strong communication capabilities with patients, families, and healthcare teams
