What Your Role Entails

Performing thorough patient evaluations, ordering necessary diagnostic tests, and developing personalized care strategies

Diagnosing and treating acute, episodic, or chronic conditions in partnership with physicians or autonomously, depending on your qualifications

Informing patients and families on health promotion, prevention strategies, and chronic illness management

Prescribing appropriate medications and therapies aligned with your practice scope

Engaging in patient follow-ups and managing chronic care plans

Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to facilitate comprehensive care

Ensuring precise documentation within electronic medical record systems

Qualification Essentials

Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)

Successful graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program

Mandatory Certifications

Active Nurse Practitioner license in Florida

National Board certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP, or ANCC) or equivalent specialty

Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or ability to obtain within 90 days)
