Your Responsibilities:
Carrying out thorough patient evaluations, requesting diagnostic testing, and designing individualized care strategies
Identifying and treating acute, chronic, or episodic health conditions, working in collaboration with healthcare providers or autonomously (per credentialing)
Providing education to patients and their families on wellness strategies, prevention, and disease management
Prescribing appropriate medications and therapies within your practice scope
Engaging in patient follow-up and chronic disease management
Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to guarantee comprehensive, holistic healthcare
Maintaining accurate and detailed records in electronic medical records (EMR)
Educational Background:
Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner educational program
Certification Necessities:
Active Nurse Practitioner licensure in the state of Texas
Nationally recognized certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP, or ANCC) or an equivalent specialty
Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or ability to secure within 90 days)
