Your Contributions Will Include
Conducting thorough patient evaluations, ordering the necessary diagnostic tests, and formulating tailored care strategies
Diagnosing and managing acute, chronic, or episodic health issues in collaboration with supervising physicians or independently, as per your credentials
Providing education to patients and their families regarding wellness, prevention, and chronic disease management
Prescribing medications and implementing treatment plans as per your professional scope
Engaging in follow-ups and chronic condition management
Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive and seamless patient care
Meticulously documenting clinical findings in electronic medical records (EMR)
Essential Education and Training
Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
Successful completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner educational program
Critical Credentials Required
Active Nurse Practitioner licensure in North Carolina
National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or specialty equivalent
Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or ability to secure these within 90 days)
