Your Role in the Community

Performing detailed patient assessments, ordering necessary tests, and crafting personalized care strategies

Diagnosing and managing acute, episodic, or chronic conditions in collaboration with physicians or independently (based on your credentials)

Providing patient education on wellness, preventative measures, and chronic disease management

Prescribing appropriate medications and therapies in line with your scope of practice

Engaging in patient follow-up and chronic care routines

Working alongside interdisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive care

Thoroughly documenting all interactions within electronic medical records (EMR)

Qualifications You'll Need

Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)

Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program

Required Credentials

Valid Nurse Practitioner license in the great state of Texas

National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP, or ANCC) or a specialty equivalent

Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certificates (or the ability to obtain within 90 days)
