Your Responsibilities
Performing comprehensive patient evaluations, initiating relevant diagnostic measures, and developing personalized treatment strategies
Diagnosing and managing acute, episodic, or chronic conditions, collaboratively with physicians or independently as credentialed
Providing education to patients and their families on wellness, disease prevention, and effective health management
Prescribing appropriate medications and therapies following your scope of practice
Incorporating follow-up and chronic care management into your patient care approach
Working seamlessly within interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive, holistic patient care
Maintaining precise and thorough documentation within electronic medical records (EMR)
Educational Qualifications
Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
Essential Certifications
Valid Nurse Practitioner licensure in Texas
National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or a related specialty
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or ability to obtain within 90 days)
