Your Responsibilities

Conducting detailed patient evaluations, ordering essential diagnostic tests, and crafting personalized care strategies

Diagnosing and managing acute, episodic, or chronic conditions in collaboration with physicians or autonomously based on credentials

Guiding patients and families in wellness, prevention, and disease management

Prescribing medications and therapies in line with your practice scope

Engaging in follow-up care and chronic disease management

Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to deliver seamless, holistic patient care

Maintaining accurate and detailed documentation within electronic medical records (EMR)

Education Prerequisites

Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)

Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program

Required Credentials

Active Nurse Practitioner licensure in Kentucky

National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or an equivalent specialty

Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or the ability to secure them within 90 days)

Special Skills
