Your Essential Responsibilities
Performing comprehensive assessments, recommending diagnostic procedures, and developing individualized care strategies for patients
Diagnosing and managing acute, episodic, or chronic health conditions, either in partnership with physicians or independently, based on your credentials
Informing patients and their families about wellness, prevention, and effective disease management
Prescribing treatments and medications within your designated scope of practice
Engaging in follow-up care and chronic disease management initiatives
Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to facilitate comprehensive, effective care
Ensuring meticulous documentation within electronic health records (EHR)
What You Need to Shine
Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) is required
Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner educational program
Required Credentials
Active Nurse Practitioner licensure in California
National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP, or ANCC) or relevant specialty
Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications, or the ability to acquire them within 90 days
