Job description
The Nurse Practitioner provides health care services to patients within scope of license, performs physical examinations and diagnostic tests, assessments and screenings, prescribes medications, and instructs patients and family members on medical conditions and treatment. Additionally, the Nurse Practitioner may have an area of specialty practice.
nMinimum Requirements:
nnnCurrent Nurse Practitioner Certification and license in thestate of practice required

nnCertification as a Nurse Practitioner by a nationallyaccredited nursing organization (e.g. American Academy of Nurse Practitioners –AANP, American Nurses Credentialing Center – ANCC) is preferred
n
nnSpecialty Certification as per client request and or stateregulations if applicable
n
nnOne year experience as an NP preferred
n
nnMaintain collaboration agreements, per state requirements
n
nnCurrent CPR if applicable
n
nnTB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
n
nnCurrent Health certificate (per contract or stateregulation)
n
nnMust meet all federal, state and local requirements
n
nnMust be at least 18 years of age
