Job DescriptionAbout the Role:
Suarez Family Medicine PLLC is looking for a dedicated and compassionate Bilingual Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Medical Doctor (MD) to join our team on a part-time basis in Freeport, NY. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a community-focused family medicine practice where patient care is at the heart of everything we do.
Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive primary and family medicine care to patients
Conduct patient evaluations, physical exams, and health screenings
Diagnose and treat acute and chronic medical conditions
Develop and manage individualized patient care plans
Order and interpret diagnostic tests, labs, and imaging
Prescribe medications and manage ongoing medication regimens
Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and care team members to ensure continuity of care
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record (EHR)
Requirements:
Active NP or MD license in the state of New York (required)
Board certification in Family Medicine or related specialty preferred
Experience in a primary care or family medicine setting strongly preferred
DEA license and ability to prescribe medications independently or collaboratively
Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems
Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and decision-making skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with diverse patient populations
Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care
