Your Role and Responsibilities
Performing thorough patient evaluations, ordering relevant diagnostic procedures, and developing individualized care strategies
Diagnosing and managing a range of acute, chronic, or episodic conditions in collaboration with supervising physicians or independently, as permitted by your credentials
Educating patients and their families about disease prevention, wellness strategies, and effective management of chronic conditions
Prescribing medications and therapies in accordance with professional guidelines
Engaging in follow-up care and chronic illness management
Partnering with interdisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive, holistic patient care
Maintaining accurate and complete documentation in electronic medical records (EMR)
Qualifications
Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
Essential Certifications
Active Nurse Practitioner licensure in Arizona
National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or equivalent specialized certification
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications, or a commitment to obtain them within 90 days
Distinguishing Skills
Strong clinical judgment coupled with a compassionate bedside presence
Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities with patients, families, and healthcare colleagues
Ability to thrive in fast-paced, patient-centric environments
Proficiency with EMR systems and comfort in utilizing telehealth technologies
