What Your Role Entails
Performing thorough patient evaluations, recommending diagnostic tests, and crafting personalized care plans
Diagnosing and managing acute, chronic, or episodic conditions, either independently or in collaboration with physicians, per your credentialing
Informing patients and their families about prevention, wellness initiatives, and disease management strategies
Administering medications and therapies according to your practice scope
Engaging in patient follow-ups and managing chronic health conditions
Working alongside interdisciplinary teams to provide cohesive, holistic care
Accurately and comprehensively documenting patient information in electronic medical records (EMR)
What You Need to Succeed
Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
Necessary Credentials
Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner in the state of Wisconsin
National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or equivalent specialty
Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or the ability to obtain within 90 days)
