Your Responsibilities
Conduct thorough patient assessments, order relevant diagnostic tests, and develop personalized treatment strategies
Diagnose and address acute, episodic, or chronic conditions in partnership with physicians or autonomously based on your credentials
Educate patients and their families about prevention strategies, wellness initiatives, and disease management
Prescribe necessary medications and treatments within your professional scope

Maintain detailed and accurate documentation through electronic medical records (EMR)
Educational Qualifications
Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
Successful completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
Necessary Certifications
Current Nurse Practitioner license in the state of Alabama
National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP, or ANCC) or equivalent specialty
Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or the ability to secure within 90 days)
