Your Responsibilities

Performing thorough patient evaluations, initiating diagnostic tests, and crafting customized care strategies

Diagnosing and treating a range of illnesses, whether acutely, episodically, or chronically, either alone or in partnership with physicians as appropriate

Guiding patients and their families in prevention, wellness strategies, and chronic disease management

Prescribing treatments and medications in accordance with legal and ethical guidelines

Engaging in patient follow-up and overseeing chronic condition care management

Working collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to enhance holistic patient experiences

Ensuring accurate documentation within electronic medical records (EMR)

Education Requirements

Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)

Successful completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program

Required Certifications

Valid Nurse Practitioner license in California

National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP, or ANCC) or equivalent in your specialty

Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or willingness to obtain within 90 days)
