Your Role in This Adventure
Conducting thorough patient evaluations, recommending diagnostic tests, and developing personalized care strategies
Diagnosing and managing acute, chronic, or episodic conditions in partnership with physicians or independently (based on certification)
Guiding patients and families through prevention, wellness, and chronic disease management
Prescribing appropriate medications and therapies in accordance with practice guidelines
Participating in patient follow-up care and chronic condition management
Working collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive, integrated care
Maintaining accurate and detailed medical records within electronic systems
Qualifications for the Journey
Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
Key Certifications Required
Valid Nurse Practitioner license in Pennsylvania
National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or equivalent
Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or ability to obtain within 90 days)
