Your Responsibilities
Performing thorough patient evaluations, recommending diagnostic procedures, and crafting individualized care strategies
Diagnosing and managing acute, episodic, or chronic health issues in collaboration with physicians or independently, based on your credentialing
Informing patients and their families about prevention, wellness, and effective disease management
Prescribing medications and therapies as permitted within your practice standards
Engaging in follow-up care and chronic disease management
Working alongside interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive, patient-centered care
Accurately documenting patient information in electronic medical records (EMR)
Qualifications
Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
Successful completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
Necessary Certifications
Active Nurse Practitioner license in the state of California
National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP, or ANCC) or equivalent in your specialty area
Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or the ability to obtain them within 90 days)
