Nurse Practitioner - NP / Primary Care

Your Responsibilities
Performing thorough patient evaluations, recommending necessary diagnostic tests, and creating personalized care strategies
Diagnosing and managing acute, episodic, or chronic health issues in collaboration with physicians or autonomously (subject to credentialing)
Providing guidance to patients and families on health promotion, disease prevention, and management
Prescribing medications and therapies within your scope of practice
Engaging in patient follow-up and managing chronic conditions
Working alongside interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive, seamless care
Documenting accurately and thoroughly within electronic medical records (EMR)
Essential Qualifications
Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
Successful completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
Required Credentials
Active Nurse Practitioner license in the state of Utah
National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or a comparable specialty certification
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or ability to obtain within 90 days)
