Your Daily Contributions
Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations, interpret diagnostic tests, and develop personalized care strategies
Diagnose and manage acute, chronic, or episodic illnesses either independently or in collaboration with physicians based on your credentials
Provide vital education to patients and their families regarding wellness, prevention, and chronic disease management
Prescribe necessary medications and therapies aligned with your scope of practice
Engage in patient follow-up and contribute to effective chronic care management
Work collaboratively within interdisciplinary teams to promote seamless and holistic patient care
Maintain meticulous documentation in electronic medical records (EMR)
What You Need To Succeed
Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
Required Credentials
Active Nurse Practitioner licensure in the state of New York
Certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or a relevant specialty
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications, or the ability to secure them within 90 days
