Your Key Responsibilities
Performing thorough patient evaluations, managing diagnostic tests, and developing personalized care plans
Diagnosing and addressing acute, episodic, or chronic health conditions independently or in partnership with physicians
Educating patients and their families on prevention methods, wellness strategies, and disease management
Prescribing treatment protocols and medications aligned with your area of practice
Engaging in patient follow-ups and managing chronic care delivery
Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive, cohesive care
Accurately documenting patient information in electronic medical records (EMR)
Required Education
Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
Certifications Needed
Valid Nurse Practitioner license for the state of Utah
National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or an equivalent specialty
Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or the ability to obtain these within 90 days)
