What You Will Be Doing

Performing comprehensive patient evaluations, arranging diagnostic assessments, and developing tailored care strategies

Diagnosing and managing acute, chronic, or episodic healthcare issues independently or in coordination with physicians (based on your credentials)

Instructing patients and families on wellness, prevention strategies, and effective disease management

Administering prescribed medications and therapies in accordance with your practice scope

Engaging in patient follow-ups and chronic care oversight

Collaborating with diverse healthcare teams to guarantee comprehensive care delivery

Accurately documenting patient information within electronic medical records (EMR)

Educational Qualifications

Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)

Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program

Essential Certifications

Active Nurse Practitioner license in Texas

National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP, or ANCC) or an equivalent specialty

Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or willingness to obtain within 90 days)
