Your Responsibilities
Performing comprehensive patient evaluations, ordering necessary tests, and tailoring unique care strategies
Diagnosing and managing acute, episodic, or chronic conditions alongside physicians or independently (depending on credentials)
Providing education to patients and families regarding preventive care, wellness, and disease management
Administering prescriptions and therapies as aligned with the scope of practice
Engaging in patient follow-ups and overseeing chronic condition management
Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure cohesive, holistic care
Maintaining accurate and thorough documentation within electronic medical records (EMR)
What You Will Need
A Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
Required Certifications
Current Nurse Practitioner licensure in Texas
National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP, or ANCC) or an equivalent specialty certification
Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or the ability to obtain them within 90 days)
