Your Responsibilities
Performing thorough patient evaluations, recommending diagnostic tests, and developing personalized care strategies.
Diagnosing and managing acute, episodic, or chronic health issues independently or in partnership with physicians, depending on your credentials.
Providing essential education to patients and families regarding preventative measures, wellness practices, and disease management.
Prescribing medications and therapies within your professional scope.
Engaging in patient follow-up and ongoing chronic care management.
Working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure cohesive, comprehensive care.
Meticulously documenting patient interactions within electronic medical records (EMR).
Educational Background
Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
Successful graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
Essential Certifications
Active Nurse Practitioner license in the state of California
National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or another relevant specialty
Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or the willingness to obtain within 90 days)
