Your Role and Responsibilities
Performing comprehensive patient evaluations and initiating tailored care plans
Diagnosing and managing acute or chronic health issues independently or in coordination with physicians
Informing and guiding patients and families on wellness, prevention, and chronic disease management
Prescribing appropriate medications and treatments as per the established scope of practice
Engaging in follow-up care and chronic disease management initiatives
Working collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to provide seamless care
Maintaining precise and thorough documentation in electronic medical records (EMR)
Educational Background
Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
Certifications Required
Active Nurse Practitioner license in California
National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP, or ANCC) or similar
Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or willingness to obtain within 90 days)
