Your Responsibilities
Performing in-depth patient evaluations, ordering relevant diagnostic tests, and creating tailored care plans
Diagnosing and treating a variety of acute, episodic, or chronic conditions in collaboration with physicians or independently (based on credentials)
Providing education to patients and their families about prevention, wellness strategies, and disease management
Prescribing medications and therapies as permitted within your scope of practice
Engaging in patient follow-ups and managing chronic care
Working alongside interdisciplinary teams to provide integrated and comprehensive care
Ensuring meticulous and accurate documentation in electronic health records (EHR)
Education Requirements
Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
Mandatory Certifications
Active Nurse Practitioner licensure in California
National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or equivalent specialty
Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or willingness to obtain within 90 days)
