Your Key Responsibilities
Performing intricate patient evaluations, recommending diagnostic procedures, and creating tailored care strategies
Assessing and managing acute, episodic, or chronic health challenges either jointly with doctors or independently (based on credentials)
Instructing patients and families on wellness practices, prevention strategies, and chronic disease management
Prescribing medications and treatments as per professional scope
Engaging in patient follow-ups and chronic disease management plans
Collaborating across multidisciplinary teams to provide integrated, well-rounded care
Maintaining comprehensive and accurate electronic health records (EMR)
Essential Education
Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner educational program
Necessary Certifications
Active Nurse Practitioner licensure in Arizona
National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or equivalent certification
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or ability to achieve within 90 days)
