Your Vital Contributions
Performing holistic patient evaluations, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, and developing personalized care strategies
Diagnosing and managing acute, chronic, or episodic health issues collaboratively with other healthcare professionals or independently based on your qualifications
Guiding patients and their families on preventive health measures, wellness practices, and managing chronic diseases
Prescribing suitable medications and therapies, adhering to the legal scope of practice
Participating in ongoing patient monitoring and chronic illness management
Working alongside interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
Meticulously documenting medical decisions and patient progress in electronic medical records (EMR)
Educational Advocacy
Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner training program
Certification Requirements
Active Nurse Practitioner license valid in Illinois
National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or an equivalent specialty credential
Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or the ability to obtain them within 90 days)
