Your Responsibilities
Performing thorough patient evaluations, initiating diagnostic testing, and crafting personalized care plans
Diagnosing and managing acute, episodic, or chronic conditions autonomously or collaboratively with physicians
Guiding patients and their families on preventive measures, wellness strategies, and effective disease management
Prescribing medications and therapies within your scope of practice
Engaging in patient follow-ups and chronic care initiatives
Working alongside interdisciplinary teams to deliver cohesive, holistic care
Accurately and comprehensively documenting care in electronic medical records (EMR)
Education Needed
Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
Necessary Certifications
Active Nurse Practitioner licensure in Ohio
National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP, or ANCC) or specialty equivalent
Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or permitted to obtain within 90 days)
