Your Role and Responsibilities

Performing in-depth patient evaluations, ordering necessary diagnostic tests, and developing tailored care plans

Diagnosing and treating short-term, ongoing, or chronic conditions in partnership with physicians or independently, based on your qualifications

Providing education to patients and their families about prevention strategies, wellness, and chronic disease management

Prescribing medications and therapies in alignment with your scope of practice

Engaging in patient follow-up and managing chronic conditions

Working collaboratively across various teams to guarantee comprehensive and integrated care

Accurately documenting all patient interactions in electronic medical records (EMR)

Educational Background

Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)

Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program

Required Credentials

Active Nurse Practitioner license in the state of Texas

National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP, or ANCC) or relevant specialty

Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications, or ability to obtain within 90 days
