Your Responsibilities
Conducting thorough patient evaluations, ordering necessary diagnostic tests, and developing tailored healthcare plans
Diagnosing and treating both acute and chronic conditions collaboratively with physicians or independently, depending on your qualifications
Providing education to patients and their families on health maintenance, prevention, and disease management
Prescribing medications and therapies as permitted by the scope of practice
Engaging in patient follow-up and managing chronic care
Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive, patient-centered care
Keeping meticulous records and documentation within electronic medical records (EMR)
Qualifications
Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
Licensing and Certifications
Active Nurse Practitioner license in the state of Tennessee
National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP, or ANCC) or equivalent specialty
Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or the ability to obtain within 90 days)
